His patience and attention to detail allowed him to understand the intricacies of structures and perfect his repair skills. This initial experience shaped his outlook on the stages of construction of a building, giving him a holistic vision of the structure and successive phases.
The downtime due to winter unemployment was a major challenge and deeply motivated the older brother. Driven by the desire to work year-round, an aspiration difficult to achieve in Quebec, he made a bold decision. Setting the stage by saving conscientiously, he ventured into Western Canada in search of new opportunities.
